China Stationery Fair (CSF) is one of the well-known leading international events for school supplies, office supplies and creative trend sectors across the Asia-Pacific region, boasting a long-standing history. Since its establishment, the fair has traversed two sexagenary cycles, witnessing and propelling every significant transformation and leap within the industry. As it embarks on a new journey at this bicentennial milestone, the 120^th edition not only serves as a glorious testament to its past but also marks the starting point for future trends.

The 120^th China Stationery Fair will join hands with the 27^th CHN Gift Expo at Shanghai New International Expo Centre from June 26 to 28, 2026. The exhibition is expected to cover an area of 80,000 square meters, attracting more than 1,800 exhibitors and an estimated 100,000 visits.

CSF 2026 will showcase a diverse array of products across more than ten categories, including stationery and office supplies, art materials, student essentials, cultural and creative items, gifts and giveaways, trendy toys, and anime-related merchandise. It will bring together audiences from various channels and countries, facilitating multi-dimensional exchanges through a blend of "domestic and foreign trade," "online and offline platforms," "new products and emerging trends," as well as "professional forums and interactive experiences." This will ultimately create value for businesses and empower the entire industry.

Data from National Bureau of statistics shows that approximately 2475 enterprises above certain size in China stationery and sport goods manufacturing industry have completed a total revenue of 331.172 billion Yuan in 2020, a year-on-year increase of 2.90%. Such enterprises realized a total profit of 21.808 billion Yuan in the whole stationery and sport goods manufacturing industry in China, a year-on-year decrease of 1.11%. The profit margin of the operating revenue in stationery and sport goods industry was 6.59%, a year-on-year decrease of 0.27 percentage points.

China now has been grown up to be the biggest stationery consumer in the world; however, the market share of Chinese enterprises in the world is still comparatively low comparing with the global market capacity worth of more than US 200billion dollars, nevertheless high-quality original products are still very few.

Most Chinese stationery manufacturers are private companies, resulting the whole industry is still struggling in the low-end price wars and the common phenomena of small size, obsolescent industrial structure, low technical contains and mostly are OEM companies. They are lack of high level industrial design and innovation ability that . Chinese office supplies and stationery industry urgently needs a transform from low-level producer to a high-level innovative powerful nation.
