China Stationery Fair (CSF), organized by Comexposium-CSF (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and supported by China Commerce Association for General Merchandise (CCAGM), is now one of the well-known leading international events for school supplies, office supplies and cultural products.

Founded in 1953 and after more than 70 years of continuous growth and development, CSF has established itself as a globally recognized industry event and an international platform that integrates information and commerce. It provides access to new channels, uncovers fresh business opportunities, and offers insights into emerging trends, thereby fostering the thriving growth of the cultural and office supplies industries.

CSF 2025 has introduced a new strategic layout: combining domestic and international trade to unleash the strong power of dual engines; integrating e-commerce and new channels to empower business decisions efficiently; and exploring the frontier development momentum through ESG sustainable environmental protection.

CSF 2026 will join hands with the 27th CHN Gift Expo at Halls W1, E1-E7 of Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The exhibition is expected to cover an area of 92,000 square meters, aiming to achieve a dual leap in both the quantity and quality of professional visitors. This powerful collaboration will bring unprecedented industrial integration power and creative burst, building a hub for global industry professionals to achieve value upgrading and jointly sketch a new blueprint for the cultural and office supplies industries!

Data from National Bureau of statistics shows that approximately 2475 enterprises above certain size in China stationery and sport goods manufacturing industry have completed a total revenue of 331.172 billion Yuan in 2020, a year-on-year increase of 2.90%. Such enterprises realized a total profit of 21.808 billion Yuan in the whole stationery and sport goods manufacturing industry in China, a year-on-year decrease of 1.11%. The profit margin of the operating revenue in stationery and sport goods industry was 6.59%, a year-on-year decrease of 0.27 percentage points.

China now has been grown up to be the biggest stationery consumer in the world; however, the market share of Chinese enterprises in the world is still comparatively low comparing with the global market capacity worth of more than US 200billion dollars, nevertheless high-quality original products are still very few.

Most Chinese stationery manufacturers are private companies, resulting the whole industry is still struggling in the low-end price wars and the common phenomena of small size, obsolescent industrial structure, low technical contains and mostly are OEM companies. They are lack of high level industrial design and innovation ability that . Chinese office supplies and stationery industry urgently needs a transform from low-level producer to a high-level innovative powerful nation.
